MY WORK WITH PARTNERS

“Love rests on two pillars: surrender and autonomy. Our need for togetherness exists alongside our need for separateness.”

- Esther Perel

I work with people in all forms of partnerships-- couples married for decades, partners early in their journey, non-monogamous partnerships, and everything in between.

Sexual challenges can arise in any form of partnership, at any stage of the relationship.  Each partner comes to the relationship with their own sexual identity, experiences, and hang-ups.

In my work with couples, we address both the individuals and the shared space between them.  We include some talk therapy in order to explore some of the dynamics, but I also include mindful exercises to help them get to learn more about themselves and each other.

My work is different than traditional talk therapy or sex therapists in that I invite my clients to practice embodiment, touch, and communication in my presence.  In this way, I can help smooth out some of the dynamics that may have gotten you stuck, and help you see the pathways out of them.

I am currently only seeing clients online. To learn more about what we can do in an online format and if it’s right for you, please read on.

PARTNERS often come to me with:

  • Challenges navigating different levels of desire

  • Imbalance between a need for connection and independence

  • Communication challenges

  • A desire to rekindle intimacy and passion, particularly in a long term relationship

  • Feelings of boredom and the wish to expand their sexual repertoire

  • Curiosity around opening up their relationship and forms of non-monogamy

  • The need to repair the relationship after infidelity

  • The hope to find more ease in their sexual connection

  • An understanding that their relationship will soon end, and would like help facilitating a conscious parting of ways
